Methodology

What do we measure?

We measure outcomes, not effort. Each case study reports against a small set of metrics that survive scrutiny from a buyer, an investor, or a hiring manager.

  • Revenue shipped. ARR, MRR, or paid usage attributable to the surface built under the operating model.
  • Ship velocity. Time from spec to merged diff. The number that compounds when review is fast and disciplined.
  • Defect rate. Production incidents per merge. Agents that ship without review break this number; agents that ship with review hold it.
  • Team shape. Headcount required to maintain the surface. The operating model exists to keep this number small.

Demos are not case studies. A surface that has not faced a paying customer has not been tested.
